'Use your Vote' says Murphy

Torfaen MP Paul Murphy is urging Council tenants to use their vote in the Housing Transfer ballot, which opens on Friday.

Local MP Paul Murphy said: “I would urge tenants to take their opportunity to vote. Over the past few weeks, I have looked at the offer document and visited a show home. I have been impressed with the proposals made by Bron Afon Community Housing to improve the quality of tenants’ homes in our area.”

“This will only happen if tenants vote yes in the ballot, so it’s vital that all tenants vote either by post, telephone, text or internet, to make their voices heard.”

Paul Murphy will be visiting The Hawthorns sheltered housing complex on Friday 16th February at 12.00 to meet residents.
