Paul Murphy supports Armed Forces Day

Torfaen MP Paul Murphy has voiced his support for Armed Forces Day this Saturday, saying: “Armed Forces Day is a great way to commemorate the efforts of our service men and women, both past and present.”

The Former Northern Ireland and Welsh Secretary said: “Over the years, I have met so many of our Armed Forces, in Northern Ireland, Wales and elsewhere. I’ve always been struck by their dedication and courage, often in the most difficult of circumstances. My thoughts and prayers go especially to men and women from Torfaen serving overseas, and to their families. They will always have my support, and I’m sure the gratitude of us all, for their service to our country.”
