Senator Ted Kennedy, 1932-2009

Former NI Secretary Paul Murphy pays tribute to Ted Kennedy.

“I was deeply saddened to hear of Senator Ted Kennedy’s death. I got to know him well during my time in Northern Ireland. He was deeply committed to the peace process, and played a particularly important role promoting the Good Friday Agreement amongst Irish Americans. He will be sadly missed - not just in America, but in Ireland and the UK too.”
