Torfaen MP praises GCSE students

Local MP Paul Murphy has paid tribute to pupils in Torfaen receiveing their GCSE grades today.

Paul Murphy said: "I know the hard work that goes into these exams - on the part of pupils, teachers and supportive parents too. Congratulations to all of those celebrating their results today. Young people get a lot of bad press sometimes, but I know that so many of them are a credit to our area, and I wish them well in whatever they decide to do next."
